Starting out at the tender age of four, Jayde government name (Lindsey Olson) always knew she had a voice that was meant to be heard. Growing up her talent and soul for music was molded and influenced by voices of the Idols such as the Temptations, Dorothy Moore, and Gladys Knight, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, & Luther Vandross just to name a few. She knew exactly where her heart was and to this day still is in life. Around the age of 12 her passion grew as she began to explore her talents in music as well as strengthening her vocals through out her years of middle school. The beginning of her high school came into her life as she attended P.B.G.H.S (Palm Beach Gardens High School) she was drawn to the chorus dept there she learned her strengths as well as add to her already amazing vocal range. During her chorus career she also found her passion for the stage in performance. Year after year she enjoyed learning and performing singing every chance that she had, never hesitating to find or try new ways to perfect her craft.
As a person Lindsey has had to deal with the pearls of everyday life. Coming from a broken home, Lindsey had to grow up sooner than expected in order to keep somewhat of a stable home for her family that included her little brother and sister. Gospel was her release from life and R&B soul was her getaway from the stress of everyday life. She turned to the stories of pain and sorrow, the flight of love and the happiness of uplifting, and the depth of soul music.
Jayde is the goal oriented musically inclined to always put her best effort in all that she does. She is the alter side of Lindsey. There is no such thing as shy when Jayde steps into the vocal booth, the studio is her home away form home a place where its ok for her to get away from all her struggles of the world. When she records she brings the world into her life through her music. Her soulful voice and classy, intelligent lyrics sets her apart from any other artist in the game. She sings through pain and allows her fans to join her in her music as she takes them through situations that she goes through on a day to day basis. Jayde has a voice that can only keep getting better and better. When approached with the opportunity to sing with the passionate & upcoming label Godfather Records Jayde jumped at the opportunity to work with very talented artist such as Ridah Redd, Hitt, & Demi. Under the guidance of B.I., Triggah, Mikey, & Q’z and the Godfather Family Jayde is quickly evolving and quickly & truly one of the most talented artist to watch out for in 2010.
